Message From Program Coordinator

Thank you for choosing Abibirim Radio the premier source of entertainment, news and, information from the New England and Middle Atlantic States on Africans abroad. Over the past several years, many events ranging from human interest stories to festivities and celebrations have taken place in our communities without the needed media coverage to inform the masses. Some individuals and groups have also contributed in tremendous ways in supporting our communities but were not awarded because these commendable supports did not come to public notice.

It is in view of these that a group of us came together with the idea of having a common platform to help inform and educate our communities.

The primary goal of Abibirim Radio is simple - design and stream unique programs that will improve our communities and help alleviate the plight in our communities. The board and the volunteers have made it a policy to use English in addition to other languages as the medium of communication to help explain issues and also promote dialogue for discussions.

We will be interacting regularly with city and county officials to learn about policy issues and any changes and stream them accordingly.
